Virtual Keyboard
Posted on 4 February 2005In my childhood (well, I confess even until now), I imagine one day people can type virtually in the air; while the display is projected in the air as well. So I was very surprised when getting the news of Virtual Keyboard, you can read further details here. That is fantastic !!
It will project a full-size virtual QWERTY keyboard with infrared/laser technology on to any surface. It has an optical recognition which enables the user to tap the images of the keys and feed into the compatible PC, PDA, or Smartphone. Even better, it connects through Bluetooth technology; so I think if you try it in the crowd, somebody may think you are from Mars !!
Unfortunately it is still too expensive for me to buy and also very difficult to get in Indonesia. Hopefully the technology will improve and they can reduce the production cost and cut the selling price
