Upgrade to WP 1.5.2 and Install WP-HashCash
Posted on 23 September 2005Yes, I know that WordPress v1.5.2 had been released to public on 14 August 2005; but I just found a time to install it during my lunch today 
. The installation was quite easy (as always). I just uploaded the source code files, except WP-Content and WP-Images; then executed upgrade.php in WP-Admin.
All this time, I have been using Blacklist plug-in from Fahim Farook, but I still received plenty of spam comments in my blog 
. Today I made a decision to switch to WP-HashCash by Elliot Back. Hopefully it can work as advertised, and reduce most of spam comments I receive everyday.
