Gebrakan DevCo
Posted on 24 August 2006Sungguh menarik sekali mengamati perkembangan DevCo yang begitu pesat. Bagi yang belum tahu, DevCo adalah nama sebutan untuk perusahaan baru yang akan memegang divisi IDE Borland. Keputusan Borland untuk memisahkan divisi IDE menjadi perusahaan baru sangatlah mencengangkan, namun keputusan ini disambut dengan sukacita oleh para penggemar fanatik produk Borland yang tidak merelakan development tools favoritnya ‘dimatikan’ karena fokus Borland ke produk ALM (Application LifeCycle Management).
Pertama, kembali bergabungnya mantan karyawan unggulan Borland, misalnya Steve Shaughnessy yang bertugas menggawangi teknologi database Delphi. Juga bergabungnya Nick Hodges sebagai Product Manager untuk Borland Delphi. Nick sendiri adalah mantan anggota TeamB dan pemenang penghargaan Spirit of Delphi tahun 2004.
Kedua, rencana Borland untuk meluncurkan product serba Turbo, yaitu Turbo C++, Turbo Delphi, Turbo Delphi for .NET dan Turbo C#. Kesemuanya tersedia dalam edisi Professional dan Explorer (gratis, namun dengan keterbatasan component yang dapat dibuat dan di-install).
Ketiga, banyaknya propaganda positif yang kian membangkitkan semangat para Borlander, misalnya iklan video kreatif semacam The Adventures of Turboman - Part 1 dan sederetan video ini. Juga tantangan Nick untuk membuat 30 Camtasia Demo dalam 30 hari (hasilnya dapat Anda download di sini).
Kiranya dengan berbagai gebrakan DevCo ini bisa membawa para (mantan) Borlander bergabung kembali berjuang bersama sang superhero TurboMan!!

soalnya repot pake visual2an aplikasinya gendut .. * maap gak nyinggung om Hian loh .. huehuehue*

Hi,
Firstly, let me say sorry for the cross post. I am new in this website and tried to search alot for how to start new topic/post(may be i missed it because i am not able to understand the language whether it is chinese or japanese, sorry i really dont know that).
I am searching for How to create wizards in Delphi(I m using Delphi2006) I got link for this website on search engine, the Kwizard created by William Yu Wei is very impressive. I tried to download the source code for the same but the link ” http://members.rogers.com/wyu66/index.htm.” is not working it gives an error page with message “Web sites previously located at http://members.rogers.com/ are no longer accessible at this location.”
I dont have the Mikrodata Magazine neither the link to this website is working.
Can any one please help to get the source code for Kwizard.
I would like to get it in Delphi2006(if possible). Please send it to veena_2r@yahoo.com

Sorry, there were some problems which caused me not able to reply the comments on a timely manner.
As mentioned in this announcement, KWizard was donated to JVCL. You can read further details on JVCL here. Also, you can download the current release of JVCL (version 3.20 - February 2006) here.

BTW, I write articles in this blog either in English or Indonesian language (not Chinese/Japanese).

Hi1 been trying to figure out how jvwziard works and also looking for sample maps I can use to no avail so far.
could you point me to relevant site please? Couldnt get any fix on Mikrodata magazine.
