Tips on Credit Cards

We use it to pay most of our financial needs conveniently, starting from petrol, groceries, books to insurance premium, car loan installment, etc. Nowadays it is very easy to apply for a credit card. You just need to fill the credit card application form and submit it along with the required documents. If approved, then you will receive your credit card within 2-3 weeks.
Why do we need to have credit cards??
Credit cards help us in handling our cash flow. We can buy things today and pay it 45-59 days later without any borrowing interest. Also it helps when we need some emergency funds immediately.
However, if not managed properly, excessive and uncontrolled credit card usage can be very dangerous. Credit card issuer will charge you dearly if you do not pay it in a timely fashion. Most of them will calculate the interest from the original transaction dates. There are several tips to avoid it:
- Remember that your credit limit is NOT your additional income. Never spend beyond your financial capabilities.
- Avoid to withdraw cash with credit card.
- Avoid to pay with the required minimum payments only. Always ensure to pay your bill in full every month.
If you think you need the credit feature, then always seach for interest free credit cards. It helps you to reduce the interest charges greatly.
